Davis Batters Oklahoma City Big Time Saturday, August 20th, 2039 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Chris Davis today -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at The Rehab Center and paced the Extras to a 14-7 win over the Oklahoma City Owls. After his dynamite batting performance, the Culver City center fielder told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Chris Davis singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. This season Davis is batting .327 with 18 home runs.
