San Diego Smashers Mathematically Out of Playoffs Wednesday, August 9th , 2051 The San Diego Smashers can give up their playoff chase and focus on simply winning some games, because today it became official that they have been mathematically eliminated from postseason contention. The Smashers have missed the playoffs 30 times in their 45 years as a 28 & Under's franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 4th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2047. In the last 10 seasons, the Smashers have only made the playoffs once. San Diego last won the Round 2 in 2032. |
