Allen Put in Cooler, Hitless Against Millbrae Monday, June 28th , 2055 Will Allen went 0-for-5 at Halesite Grounds to break his consecutive-game hitting streak at 22 games. The 22-year-old Delano first baseman failed to get a hit in the 7-3 Tigers victory over the Millbrae Scoobys at Halesite Grounds. Allen did not make himself available to reporters after the game. "I think Will is a little upset," Delano manager Júlio Hernández said. "He'll get over it." At present, Allen is batting .350 and has collected 36 home runs, 76 RBIs, .419 OBP and scored 87 runs. |
