Miguel Herrera showed off his speed, his power and his plate discipline today at Menlo Park, putting together all facets of his game to hit for the cycle in the Santa Fe win.

The 25-year-old shortstop went 4-for-5, collecting 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run to help the Diablos top the Menlo Maniacs by a score of 13-11. A jubilant Herrera told reporters afterward that the experience was "unimaginable."

"Seriously, I would have been happy going 1-for-5 with just the double," he said. "So this feels incredible."

For the day, Herrera finished with 2 runs batted in and 3 runs scored to go with his 4 hits.

Miguel Herrera grounded out in the 2nd, tripled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Alonso López in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.

This season Herrera is hitting .322 with 106 hits, 14 home runs, 53 RBIs, scored 54 runs and played in 96 games.
