Hit Parade: Tejeda Gets Cycle
Friday, August 25th , 2051
At Riverwalk Stadium today, Edgar Tejeda led Moose Jaw to a 9-6 victory over the Oklahoma City Owls by hitting for the cycle, one of baseball's more difficult feats.

"Usually the triple is the hardest one to get, but I was most worried about the homer today because the ball wasn't carrying," Tejeda said later. "When I took it deep, I was expecting the ball to die on the warning track, so it was sweet seeing the ump give me the signal to circle the bases."

In addition to going 4-for-5, Tejeda chalked up 1 RBI and scored 3 runs in an exceptional performance.

Edgar Tejeda flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, tripled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Bob Hill in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.

In this current campaign Tejeda is hitting at a .286 clip with 47 home runs and 106 RBIs.
