The San Diego Smashers closer sustained a season-ending injury against the Buffalo LightSabres and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Lawson was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a ruptured finger tendon and stated that he would not be able to play for 4 months. Lawson has made 11 games so far this year with 8 saves. In 12.2 innings he has dished out 17 strikeouts and walked 2 with a 1-0 mark and a 0.00 ERA. |
