Chapman Strokes 5 Hits Friday, June 30th , 2056 There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day. John Chapman is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-5 against the Winnipeg Jets at The Guido Ghetto. The monster effort from the 23-year-old first baseman helped the Gainesville Guidos get the win, 17-14. "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Jets manager Danny Campbell. "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today." John Chapman hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Gustavo Piña in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th and hit a three-run home run off Diego Aguilar in the 6th.
