Playoffs? No Chance for San Antonio Wednesday, August 12th , 2054 Even the most die-hard fans of the San Antonio Suns will likely now start focusing on next year. The team was today mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. "We're disappointed," said Suns right fielder Carroll Edwards. "Not just for ourselves, but also for the fans that stick with us every year." The Suns have missed the playoffs 15 times in their 16 years as a 28 & Under's franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 12th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2042. San Antonio has won the Round 2 12 times in their history. |
