Playoff Bound: Tucson Secures Wild Card Saturday, September 2nd , 2051 Andrew Patrick of the Tucson Toros said fighting for a playoff spot is an "absolute grind" in 28 & Under's. The grind is now over, as the Toros have captured a wild card berth. "It's a weight off our shoulders and now we can exhale," said the reliever. "It's hard to describe how much effort and focus goes into this." Team manager Riley Johnston believes his club has something to prove and they are looking forward to the postseason. |
