Thrice Is Nice: Marrero Unloads 3 Homers Sunday, August 30th , 2054 In a powerful performance that left the fans at The Guido Ghetto buzzing, Everett Chargers center fielder Sixtó Marrero blasted a trio of home runs en route to a win, 15-4, over the Gainesville Guidos. "Everything was clicking," Marrero told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them." Marrero shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 5 at-bats, 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Chargers manager Shane Hunter said. "Sixtó played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game." Sixtó Marrero hit a solo-shot off Mike Baker in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Juan Reyes in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Juan Reyes in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and flied out in the 8th.
