Beecroft Goes Downtown 3 Times Against Ghostbusters Thursday, September 14th , 2051 Logan Beecroft added his name in the record books after an explosive home run spree against the Moose Jaw Ghostbusters. But despite joining the select list of sluggers to hit three home runs in a game, it didn't guarantee a victory. The Tucson Toros fell to the Ghostbusters, 9-7. In his big day at Proton Place, the Tucson center fielder went 3-for-4 with 5 RBIs and scored 3 times. "It was just one of those days," he told BNN sportswriters in the postgame interview. "I don't know how to explain it. I'm just putting a good swing on the ball. "You would think three homers would win most games. It was good to hit 'em, but a win would have really made my day." Logan Beecroft hit a solo-shot off Chuck Carrillo in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Chuck Carrillo in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th and hit a three-run home run off Joseph Cameron in the 8th. This season Beecroft has delivered 145 hits in 444 at-bats for a .327 average with 48 home runs. He is getting on base at a .409 clip and his totals also include 110 RBIs and 106 runs scored.
