Homer Rice Sidelined for Season Tuesday, July 27th , 2055 Homer Rice of the Rebels just might have to call it quits for the season. The 26-year-old Wilmington reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Millbrae Scoobys recently at Miller Park. Rice suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch. The Rebels medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 10 months. For the season, his stats show Rice has 2 saves in 25 relief appearances with a 1-2 record and 6.75 ERA. |
