Tucson's Tomita Nets CL Outstanding Pitcher Award

The Continental League Outstanding Pitcher Award winner has been chosen and the trophy goes to Tucson hurler Teika Tomita for his outstanding season in 2051.

Tomita was quite impressive with a 13-6 record and a 3.58 ERA. In 32 starts and 181 innings, he struck out 208 and gave up 132 hits and 82 walks. Teams hit .208 against him.

He received 22 first place votes out of a possible 28. Francisco Chávez of the San Antonio Suns finished second in voting with 6 first place votes, while Andrew Patrick of the Tucson Toros finished third.
