Miners Pitching Ravaged by Moorhouse Monday, August 9th , 2055 There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day. Clarence Moorhouse is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-5 against the Glace Bay Miners at The Dome. The monster effort from the 25-year-old first baseman helped the Frisco Rough Riders get the win, 10-3. "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Miners manager Kyle Kendall. "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today." Clarence Moorhouse hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Esteban Romero in the 8th.
