Elitists Bennett CL Hitter of the Week Monday, August 5th , 2047 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Continental League, but last week Mike Bennett of the Evanston Elitists reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Bennett rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (10-for-20), 5 home runs and 11 RBIs to come away with the award. On the year Bennett has hit .283 with 30 home runs, 73 RBIs and scored 71 runs. |
