Phoenix's Morton Shines, Shuts Out Seattle Saturday, August 24th, 2041 Curt Morton of the Phoenix Night Creepers whitewashed the Seattle Rainiers 3-0 in a complete-game win, limiting them to 2 hits while chalking up 11 strikeouts and giving up no walks. "He's got the makeup. He's not afraid to challenge guys," Phoenix manager Nick Emery said to BNN reporters after the game. "Curt is poised out there. He knows how to pitch and how to use his stuff."
