No Late-Season Magic Coming: Nantucket Out of Playoffs Friday, August 30th, 2041 Looking at the bigger picture, Miguel López of the Nantucket Orcas said he's excited for what's to come in the years ahead for his squad. But in the present, he said, the club is quite disappointed with the realization today that they are now mathematically out of playoff contention for the 2041 season. This is the club's 8th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2033. In the last 10 seasons, the Orcas have missed the playoffs 9 times. In total, the Orcas have missed the playoffs 18 times in their 34-year history. Nantucket has won the 24&U Championship 2 times in their history. |
