Esquires Out of Playoff Race Friday, August 24th , 2046 It won't be a season to remember for the Eau Claire Esquires, as the club has officially missed out on the playoffs. The Esquires were mathematically eliminated from qualification today. "With any luck, in a couple years we will look back on the 2046 season as an important stepping stone to a title," said Eau Claire starting pitcher Grant Thompson. This is the 6th time in a row that the Esquires have missed the playoffs.Their last payoff appearance was in 2040.Eau Claire has won the Round 2 4 times in their history. |
