Yi-ping Xi Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year Saturday, September 20th, 2036 The season is finished for Yi-ping Xi of the Phoenix Night Creepers. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Night Creepers closer suffered shoulder inflammation while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Long Beach Challengers. Team doctors said it would take at least 4 months to heal. So far this season Xi has 30 saves in 62 relief appearances with a 4-6 mark and 2.93 ERA. Opposing teams are hitting .292 against him. |
