Anyone wearing a glove and sitting in the bleachers for today's Patriots-Redlegs game had a good chance at snagging a home run ball.
Fishkill first baseman George Lee thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Fishkill to a 10-0 win over Nashua.
"Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Lee said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run."
Lee was 3-for-4 on the day with 3 runs batted in.
George Lee hit a solo-shot off Pete Brooks in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Pete Brooks in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Augusto Vega in the 7th.
Lee is hitting at a .367 mark this season. His stats show 14 home runs, 34 RBIs and 40 runs scored. He has played 38 games for the Patriots.
