Bulldogs Won't Get Playoff Berth Thursday, May 19th, 2039 Butler Bulldogs starting pitcher Frank Baxter said his team's effort to get into the playoffs fell "heartbreakingly short." But that's the situation they are faced with, as the club was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. The Bulldogs have missed the playoffs 12 times in their 13 years as a College Baseball franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 6th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2032.
