Bulldogs Dominate, Sweep Elite 8 Saturday, May 30th , 2043 The Mississippi State Bulldogs had all facets of their game going and have swept the Ohio State Buckeyes in the Elite 8. Mississippi State now heads off to the Final Four, after wrapping up the series with a 4-0 win. Bill Hawkins was named MVP, as he put up a .500 batting average, with a .500 on-base percentage.
