But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the Rutgers Scarlet Knights rising star has won the College Baseball Reliever of the Year Award for 2043.
He captured the award on the strength of his 1.10 ERA over 57.1 innings. He also had 6 saves in 21 relief appearances, 95 strikeouts and only 28 walks.
He received 55 first place votes out of a possible 74. Don Dixon of the Iowa Hawkeyes finished second in voting with 16 first place votes, while Alfredo Ramírez of the Cincinnati Bearcats finished third with 2 first place votes.
