Injury Sidelines Tim Sine For Year Tuesday, April 26th , 2050 Tim Sine has to call it a season. The Wake Forest Demon Deacons closer sustained a season-ending injury against the Iowa State Cyclones and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Sine was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn ulnar collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 12 months. For the season Sine has earned 1 save, worked 16.2 innings, fanned 17 hitters and recorded a 4.32 ERA. He has held opposing teams to a .224 batting average. |
