Miller Wins NCAA Player of the Week Prize Monday, May 18th , 2048 19-year-old Carl Miller made a few Florida headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and College Baseball officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 23 at-bats to put up a .522 average. Miller collected 6 home runs, 16 RBIs and scored 8 runs. In 47 games this season Miller has batted at a .350 pace with 56 hits and 18 home runs. |
