Mississippi's Reyes Down with Injury Monday, May 28th , 2046 Carlos Reyes is doubtful to make the playoffs this year, according to sources within the Mississippi organization. Although the injury was initially thought to be not serious, tests have revealed the player will be out up to 5-6 months with a concussion. The 20-year-old shortstop suffered the injury colliding with a player at a base in a recent game against the Northwestern Wildcats. In 48 games this season Reyes has batted at a .244 pace with 44 hits and 4 home runs. |
