Franks Fashions Shutout Against Miami Monday, April 27th , 2054 The Miami Hurricanes manager was philosophical in the clubhouse following a shutout loss to the Connecticut Huskies. The Hurricanes were overpowered by Connecticut starter Wade Franks, who hurled his club to victory, 4-0. "It was just one of those games -- shake it off and do better next time," Eric Wheeler said. Over 9 innings, Franks blanked Miami on 5 hits with 3 walks and 10 strikeouts. "I kept them off balance. I could tell a lot of them were late on fastballs because they were fouling them off.
