Hartigan Fans 18 Wildcats Wednesday, May 8th , 2047 Arizona Wildcats starter Thatcher Hartigan brought his best stuff to Jerry Kindall Field at Frank Sancet Stadium today against the Villanova Wildcats, striking out 18 batters in his club's 3-2 victory. In a strong performance, the 19-year-old Hartigan gave up 1 hit in his 8.1 innings of work and issued 5 walks. "I felt good out there," he said after the game. "My fastball had a lot of life and my fastball was sharp. It was giving hitters fits and working well for me."
