Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Fairman Sunday, April 17th, 2039 Emery Fairman's bat has been smoking lately, and it continued today as he went 1-for-3 in a 6-1 Stanford Cardinal triumph over the Butler Bulldogs at Sunken Diamond. The 18-year-old shortstop has now hit safely in 20 consecutive games for the Cardinal. Emery Fairman doubled in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and grounded out in the 6th. In the 2039 season Fairman is hitting .360 with no home runs. |
