5-for-5 Game for Woodruff Tuesday, May 3rd, 2039 Spring Valley HS third baseman Ron Woodruff had a day to remember today, 5-for-5 against the Broken Arrow HS Threshers at Ballpark of Spring Valley HS as the Bombers picked up a 11-4 victory. "He was patient up there today," Spring Valley HS skipper Ken Rhodes told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Woodruff has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Ron Woodruff hit a solo-shot off Sancho Vázquez in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Sancho Vázquez in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th and singled in the 7th.
