Riggs on Fire, Strikes out 15 Turkeys Monday, May 5th, 2036 Bill Riggs of the Oliver Ames HS Tigers put on a pitching clinic today at Carbines Ballpark as he struck out 15 Fort Worth HS Turkeys in a 10-0 victory. Riggs, who is considered the best prospect in baseball by BNN, was simply magnificent as he held the Turkeys to 2 hits. He walked 1. "I felt okay at the beginning," Riggs said, "but eventually my slider really started working. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game." When asked about Riggs's performance, Tigers manager Felipe Guevara shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was good out there today. He was dominating." To date this season, Riggs has a record of 5 wins and no losses and a 3.74 ERA. He has appeared in 7 games and struck out 56 in 43.1 innings. View Boxscore View Game Log |
