31 Games in a Row for Endo Monday, April 29th , 2047 Takakazu Endo ran his hitting streak to 31 straight games today at Black Bears Stadium, when he collected 3 hits in 4 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Tacoma HS Torchmen dropped the game, 10-1, to the Butler HS Tornado. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Endo said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Takakazu Endo singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, walked in the 5th, singled in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th. So far this year Endo is batting .464 with 8 home runs, 39 RBIs and 35 runs scored. |
