Crusaders Bell to Miss Year Saturday, April 29th , 2051 Chad Bell of the Bishop Gorman HS Crusaders was injured in today's game against Aurora HS and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is radial nerve compression, and he is expected to be out for up to 4-5 months. It happened while Bell was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." Presently Bell has a 4-1 mark in 7 starts with a 2.34 ERA. He has given up 35 hits in 42.1 innings, struck out 44 and issued 9 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .222 batting average against him. |
