Al Miller Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year
Saturday, May 5th, 2035
Temiskaming District Secondary School starting pitcher Al Miller could miss the remainder of the season because of bone chips in his elbow. He exited yesterday's Aurora HS game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Miller would be out 6-7 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that."
In 0 starts this year Miller has recorded a 0-2 record and a 6.75 ERA.
