Rocky Point HS Loses Langille for Year
Friday, May 3rd, 2041
The doctors have spoken and Russ Langille of the Rocky Point HS Eagles didn't like what he heard. The 17-year-old center fielder is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Langille sustained his season-ending injury during the Fresno HS Red Wings game yesterday at Red Wings Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while colliding with a player at a base. Today the Rocky Point HS medical staff reported Langille had a broken bone in the elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4-5 months.

Currently Langille has 3 home runs and a .402 batting average.
