Yucca Mountain Clinches Wild Card Wednesday, September 7th, 2039 The Yucca Mountain Yuppis have thrilled their fan base by securing a late-season wild card berth. The team's playoff future was certainly not a foregone conclusion, as the Yuppis battled to find a place in the postseason. "We never lost faith, I think that's key," said center fielder Bill Cook. "Even when things got rough, people in our clubhouse believed we were going to win." With their record sitting at 82-59, the Yuppis will try to build on their success to win the 1st BSA Rookie League championship in team history. |
