Escobedo on Fire: 5-for-5 for Watertown Friday, April 11th, 2036 Speaking with reporters after a dominating hitting performance, Juan Escobedo said his club's tilt with the Logan Swans "felt almost like batting practice." The 20-year-old center fielder went a remarkable 5-for-5 at the plate. "I saw the ball well and could just about hit it anywhere I wanted," he recalled later. However, his sensational day wasn't enough for the Watertown Headhunters, who were topped by the Swans, 8-5. "It's a good lesson for him, I guess," Headhunters manager Dominique Provencher said. "Sometimes Juan is going to lose. But I would rather him go 5-for-5 and lose than go 0-for-5 and lose." Juan Escobedo walked in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and singled in the 10th.
