Scorpions Lose Collins for 9 Months Wednesday, December 27th , 2045 A blow for Carlton Collins today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 9 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Collins suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Scottsdale Scorpions are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Collins's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. Collins has gone 1-0 this season with an ERA of 1.23 and 24 strikeouts in 14.2 innings pitched. Other clubs are hitting .140 against him. |
