Piña Tags Archdukes for 5 Hits
It was high-fives all around for José Piña at TooLegit today.

He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Amarillo Archdukes. Piña smashed 5 hits in 6 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 13-12 win.

"José was hitting everything," said Hammertime manager Brian Steele. "It really was a special game for him."

In the opposing dugout, Archdukes manager Nick Metcalf told BNN beat writers that Piña "ambushed" the club.

"Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," the skipper said. "Hopefully, Piña oversleeps next time."

José Piña hit an RBI double in the 1st, grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 9th.

So far this year, Piña is batting .320 with 3 home runs and 25 RBIs.
