PCL Awards Best Batter Prize to Berry Monday, August 14th , 2051 Aubrey Berry is respected by most Galveston Tides fans for his no-frills style of play. The 29-year-old center fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Pacific Coast League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .478 average (11-for-23) with 4 home runs, 8 RBIs and 6 runs scored. So far this season Berry has gotten 71 hits in 251 at-bats for a .283 batting average with 14 home runs. His stats include 35 RBIs and 38 runs scored. He has played in 78 games. |
