Seals Stumble, Lose to Calrissian
|
The Orlando Calrissian defeated the San Francisco Seals, 9-4, in part because of first baseman Jake Lee. Lee was 3 for 5 with 3 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Calrissian. The 6th-place Calrissian own a record of 27-63.
Tony Alvey had a big 2-run home run for the Calrissian in the bottom of the second inning. With Orlando trailing 2-1 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a fastball from former first round draft pick Dale Drake and punished it. The result was his 6th home run of the season, which put the Calrissian on top, 3-2.
"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said Lee.
