Baseball Stars Association Announces #1 Player

Columbus fans had a lot to cheer about this week as second baseman Rob Lang brought home the Baseball Stars Association Player of the Week trophy.
During his week-long batting binge he reeled off a .440 batting average, 11 hits and 4 home runs. Lang also racked up 9 RBIs and scored 6 runs.
This season, Lang has delivered 129 hits in 483 at-bats for a .267 average with 42 home runs. He is getting on base at a .336 clip and his totals also include 102 RBIs and 88 runs scored. This year Lang has played in 130 games.
