The Sausalito Meatballs banked on Tom Miller and he turned in a masterful performance. The right-hander kept the Minnesota hitters in check. The final score was 3-1, Meatballs. Miller picked up the win for Sausalito, going 6.2 innings. He gave up no runs on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 12-2. Picking up the save was Johnny Quick. He's now 32 for 35 in save chances.
Sausalito used the hitting of Vic Rivers to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Meatballs on top, 1-0. For the game, Rivers had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
