The Long Island Ducks picked up a win at Albert Park, dropping the Sausalito Meatballs, 5-3. Juan Reynoso, who finished 2nd in the BSA in ERA with 2.70 in 2050, was the difference-maker. Picking up the save was José Romo. He's now 10 for 13 in save chances. Long Island is in 4th place in the Earth Division with a record of 58-69.

Larry Cooke hit a 2-run triple off Tom Miller in the top of the first, which put the Ducks in front, 2-0. Cooke had 1 walk, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 1 for 3.

"This kind of win will certainly make our fans happy," Cooke told the Long Island Observer.
