The Cozumel Reef Divers picked up a win at The Island Ballpark, knocking off the Cleveland Fire, 7-2. Starting pitcher Ramón López was a big reason why. The 4th-place Reef Divers sport a record of 67-61.

One pivotal at-bat came in the top of the fifth with one out. With runners on 1st and 2nd and the Fire trailing 3-0, Ramón López needed to make a quality pitch. He threw a first pitch curveball to retire Gene Locke, who flied out.
