Starting pitcher Erwin Mills gave the Greenville 84's a rock-solid performance, helping his team defeat the Dallas Steers, 3-1, at Michigan & Trumbull. The victory gives the 84's a record of 72-56.

Héctor Accuro had a big solo home run for the 84's in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Greenville leading 2-1 and the bases empty, he got a changeup from 28-year old right-handed pitcher Vicente Sánchez and swatted a home run to left-center. It was his 32nd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the 84's ahead, 3-1.

"I just tried to focus on getting that first guy out every inning," said Mills.
