Cozumel Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
|
The Cozumel Reef Divers got a stellar effort from pitcher Ramón López, helping Cozumel score a win over the visiting Phoenix Firebirds, 4-2. The winning streak has now reached 7 games for the Reef Divers.
Cozumel got a knockout punch from Richard Davis. The second baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"This place went bonkers at the end," Davis said.
