The Oklahoma City Outlaws grabbed a win, 7-5, over the Dallas Steers at Outlaw Park. Oklahoma City second baseman Jerry Woods was 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 3 runs. The winner was Jason DeLay in relief. His record improves to 5-3. Millard Lewis took the loss. Ben McGowan closed it out for his 5th save.
With the game tied, 5-5, in the bottom of the sixth, Woods had a key at-bat for Oklahoma City. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, Woods hit a 2-run single off Millard Lewis, making the score 7-5, Outlaws.
"It feels good to get this one," Woods told the Oklahoma City Herald.
The 4th-place Outlaws are now 62-73, the Steers 73-62.
