Though the conditions were not ideal, the Boston Rebels and Dallas Steers came back from a rain delay to finish their game.

The Boston Rebels defeated the Dallas Steers, 6-4, in part because of catcher Derrek Fletcher. Fletcher went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs for the Rebels. The wins continue to add up for Boston. The latest makes it 7 in a row.

In the top of the fifth inning, the Rebels grabbed the lead when Reid O'Crosan rapped a two-out single. Boston was trailing 2-1, when O'Crosan hit a 2-run single off Vicente Sánchez to put his team in front, 3-2.

"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said O'Crosan. "You've got to get results."
