Win Makes Kansas City 13-5
|
Kansas City and Dallas duked it out and the Kings came out victorious.
Júlio García left his imprint on the 4-1 Kansas City win against the Dallas Steers. García, who is tied for 9th in the BSA in doubles with 6, went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The Kings, now 13-5, have played inspired baseball.
José López had a big solo home run for the Kings in the top of the third inning. With Kansas City leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he sized up a slider from Dan Perkins, who signed a 2-year contract worth $20,000,000 on 02/05/2055, and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Kings on top, 2-0.
García called the win "a team effort."
